FINE ART FRAMING’s Terms and Conditions
Limit of Liability
Although every care and attention is given to any work left with us for framing, customers are advised to practice safety and take their own precautions to ensure their work is fully covered against loss or damage. Fine Art Framing (FAF) will not be held liable for loss or damage beyond $100 USD. All or any artwork and/or other goods supplied by you or any third party to FAF are supplied entirely at your own risk and will remain at your risk while in FAF’s custody or their subcontractors (specifically pertaining to mounting/stretching/restoration). The framing advice offered is given in good faith and FAF will not be held responsible for any loss or damage consequential or otherwise to such artwork. There is inherent risk in mounting and hinging and FAF is not responsible for any changes or damaged that may occur to the artwork in the process. You should arrange and maintain adequate insurance to cover your responsibilities imposed by these terms (assistance available upon request).
Estimates, Pricing, and Payment
All estimates are valid for 30 days. While FAF always tries to ensure that any estimate given is as accurate as possible, the final price for any work cannot be confirmed until a firm order is placed and a deposit received. For projects that require special attention and/or experimental methods, the final pricing will be determined upon project completion. FAF reserves the right to require full payment before commencing work on any order, all other arrangements are up to the framer’s discretion and assumed agreed upon. All payment is due upon completion of framing. Invoices left open over 30 days will have a 15% finance charge added, reoccurring monthly. Additional storage fees may apply.
Timing and Deliveries
Fine Art Framing accepts no liability for failure to meet estimated deadlines, or for any consequential costs or inconvenience incurred by the customer. All timings given for framing completion, deliveries or collection of work will be understood to be approximate. Any transportation organized by FAF will be carried out at your own risk, expense, and insurance liability unless arranged otherwise by request.
Variations in Final Product
Fine Art Framing cannot guarantee absolute matching with our frame moulding/finish and matting. The grain of wood will always vary from piece to piece and while we take great care in selecting materials, we cannot guarantee freedom from knots & other natural figuring. All stain and color samples are approximate indicators of the final frame color. Please note that the color of wood changes with age and light exposure and this will in turn affect the frame color.
unclaimed items
Items left unaccounted for a period of more than 300 days will be considered forfeited ownership and regarded as property of Fine Art Framing unless previously arranged.

No variation of these Terms and Conditions and no oral stipulations or representations will be binding on Fine Art Framing unless expressly agreed to in writing.
